The electric cutting-height mechanism isn't moving as expected. This is the motor and gearing that raise and lower the deck, not the blades themselves.
Common causes
Grass, moss or grit packed into the height-adjustment mechanism.
The deck physically obstructed so it can't move through its full range.
A height-motor, sensor or gear fault.
How to fix it
Clean around the cutting deck and height mechanism, clearing packed grass and debris.
Check nothing is blocking the deck from moving up and down.
Run the cutting-height calibration or test from the menu if your model has one.
If it won't calibrate, the height motor or its sensor needs a dealer.
