Husqvarna Automower error 2

No loop signal

Fault / warning

Also shown as E2 · fault code 2 · message 2

The mower can't read a valid boundary or guide loop signal, so it stops rather than risk leaving the lawn. On wire-guided models this almost always points to the charging station or the boundary wire.

Common causes

How to fix it

  1. Check the charging station is powered and its status light shows the normal 'good loop' colour for your model (see the manual).
  2. Walk the boundary looking for cuts, kinks or exposed wire — a break is often where the grass looks disturbed.
  3. Open and re-seat the boundary/guide connectors at the station; replace any that are corroded.
  4. If the light shows a fault even with the wire disconnected, the problem is in the station; if it only faults with the wire connected, the break is in the loop.
